The STRAVEX Rotary Globe Control Valve is designed for process applications where control stability, leakage performance, and actuator efficiency matter.

Its eccentric plug design helps minimise wear during throttling while generating additional seating force at closure. This supports low leakage, reliable shut-off, and reduced actuator requirements in demanding industrial environments.

Suitable for chemical, metallurgical, power generation, and general industrial process control applications, this valve provides a practical solution for systems that require both precise modulation and long-term operational reliability.

The one-piece cast body with integral bonnet reduces static pressure boundary joints. With only one dynamic sealing point at the shaft, the design helps minimise potential leakage paths and improve long-term reliability.

The eccentric plug structure supports stable engagement between the plug and seat during operation. This helps reduce instability during throttling and improves seating performance when the valve closes.

An optimised internal flow path provides high flow capacity and wide rangeability, making the valve suitable for heavy-duty industrial process control.

For applications involving higher pressure drop, a multi-hole plate can be installed inside the valve body to improve flow stability and help mitigate flashing or cavitation risks.

Multi-hole plates are available in integrated internal or combined external configurations, allowing the valve to be adapted to different process requirements.

Heat jacket construction and erosion-resistant surface treatment are available for services involving crystallisation or abrasive fluids.

The symmetrical rotary plug design allows easier replacement of internal components and actuators without special orientation requirements.

Metal seat construction supports ANSI Class IV or Class V shut-off, while soft seat construction supports ANSI Class VI shut-off performance.
