What types of valves are used in power plants in Singapore?

Thermal cycling repeatedly expands and contracts valve bodies, bonnets, stems and packing, which relaxes gland packing, loosens bonnet bolting and fatigues bellows. Float and thermostatic traps are used on heat exchangers and process equipment where continuous discharge at near-steam temperature is needed. Inverted bucket traps suit turbine drains and superheated lines where waterhammer tolerance matters and a fail-open mode is preferred. Balanced-pressure thermostatic traps are used on tracing and drip legs where condensate sub-cooling is acceptable.
